Who We Are

TRAIL AMBASSADORS are individuals, in teams of 2–4 representing the Town of Castle Rock at the trailheads of our Open Space and Trails. They greet and provide visitors with information at the trailhead, encourage visitors to comply with Open Space regulations, and exhibit good trail etiquette, alert staff of unsafe behavior by visitors or degradation of the Open Space and Trails, and assisting staff with first aid and emergencies.

What We Do

Trail Ambassadors assist Open Space visitors with general trail information, monitor and report trail and corridor conditions, encourage friendly user etiquette, and provide a high-quality trail experience for users. These individuals are trained to provide route information, answer user questions, and continue to connect trail users to Castle Rock Open Spaces.
