August 20 - Incline Repair and Trail Maintenance at Philip S Miller Park
TASK: We will be repairing the incline steps (15) and then closing off a large section of social trail at the park, to include laying down slash and seed, and installing t-post fencing and wire.
Meet in the parking lot by the incline and turf field. This is important because we have over 5 parking areas.

What to Expect:
- No Experience Necessary
- Work entails cutting branches, raking, installing t-post and wire, moving and setting rocks. We don't expect anyone to do something they aren't comfortable doing.
- Expect to get dirty!
- Tools are cached on site. Volunteers don't need to bring tools.
- Please be 15 minutes early.
- Volunteers must register here.
What to Bring:
- All tools, gloves and safety vests are provided by Program Coordinator.
- Water and light snack is provided at the end of event.
- Zippered pocket or backpack for keys and belongings.
- Eye Protection
- Comfortable closed toe shoes
- Lots of hydration - enough for a full day
- Snacks - energy bars for example
- Come prepared for weather e.g. temperature, thunderstorms.
- Sunscreen
