Join us for Earth Day 2024.

We will restoring riparian habitat along East Plum Creek by cutting and planting willows, shrubs and trees and picking up trash at a crossing in the Hier and Gannon Open Space. Registration is required. Visit crgov.com/EarthDay for more details. 

This conservation project is perfect for scout groups working on their conservation badges! 

After you park, you will sign-in, get your instructions and tools. Your Crew Leader will assist you on your assigned project.

Location          Hier and Gannon Open Space -1737 South Perry Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104

Parking            Park on Perry Street only or marked designated parking only. Be respectful of the businesses. 

Event Time      9:00am-11:00am

Arrival Time    8:30am-8:45am   

Rain Date:       April 27th at 9am

Notes               Bring your own gloves if you have them. If you don’t, we will have plenty for you to use! We will provide water, snacks, gloves, vests, tools, and instruction.
