TASK: Ridgeline Open Space Trail Maintenance
LOCATION: 2525 Coachline Road
PARKING: Meet in the parking lot off of Coachine Road off of Wolfensburger Road. Look for POST Partners Truck.
What to Expect:

No Experience Necessary

Work entails cutting branches, raking, moving and setting rocks, hammering small rocks into smaller rocks, digging & shoveling. We don't expect anyone to do something they aren't comfortable doing.

Expect to get dirty.

Tools are cached on site. Volunteers don't need to bring tools.

What to Bring:

All tools, gloves and safety vests are provided by Program Coordinator.

Zippered pocket or backpack for keys and belongings.

Eye Protection

Comfortable closed toe shoes

Lots of hydration - enough for a full day

Snacks - energy bars for example

Come prepared for weather e.g., temperature, thunderstorms. Check the prediction but bring rain gear anyway. We'll notify by email with an alternate day if we need to cancel due to weather.

PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINES
1. Participants aged 14 and under require a participating parent or guardian at all times.
2. Everyone must register prior to the event.
3. All participants will sign in with the coordinator upon arrival.
4. Wear closed-toe shoes for walking and keep hands free for work - (suggest zippered pocket or backpack).
5. Stay home if you feel sick.
6. Volunteers will wear the orange safety vest during the outing, provided by the Coordinator at the time of the event.
All tools and equipment will be provided. Snacks and water provided.
